San Diego Comic Con 2004, a few good friends of mine went the festive event and said it was crazy as usual!  Unfortunately, I was unable to attend due to a schedule conflict.  It would have been nice to meet up with some of the indie comic creators/online animators that made their debut.  I am definitely making plans in 2005 to set up as an exhibitor with a stable of animators.

Submissions for the Big Cartoon Exhibition are still coming in - lots of great animation out there.  Think I have a lead on a venue that may work for the official BCE debut in Hollywood, California.  Right now, all focus is on providing a 2 hour program that features some up and coming animation talent at the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention on August 15th.  If your in LA...please come by and check it out! www.comicbookscifi.com

Thanks to columnist Judi Kaminishi for writing the first article for the "Independent Animator Newsletter."  It should be coming out sometime next month.  Also in the works is a monthly online mixer in the cartoonmogul chatroom stay tooned of for the dates--the chatroom is up for use at anytime.  Feel free to make connections with your fellow animator/animation fans.  http://web.icq.com/groups/chat/?gid=12024370
